Cancellation & refund policy

Voluntary donations are generally non-refundable

A completed voluntary donation is generally non-refundable and cannot ordinarily be cancelled because of a change of mind. Product returns and exchanges do not apply. This policy does not override applicable law, payment-network protections or a valid determination of an unauthorised transaction.

Before a payment is completed

You may leave checkout before authorising payment. Closing a browser or payment app after authorisation is not a cancellation and may not stop a debit. Check your bank and payment status before trying again. The website's current donation checkout is one-time; any standing instruction independently created with your bank must be managed with that bank.

Duplicate, mistaken or unauthorised payments

Report an accidental duplicate payment, incorrect amount, processing error or suspected unauthorised payment as soon as you notice it. Provide your name, donor email, amount, date, transaction reference / UTR and the reason for your request. Do not send passwords, OTPs, PINs or full card details. For suspected fraud, contact your bank or payment provider promptly as well.

The Foundation reviews requests against settlement and donation records. A request or screenshot does not guarantee approval. We may ask for reasonable information needed to establish what happened and will communicate the outcome after review. No automatic refund or fixed approval deadline is promised.

Where a refund is approved

An approved refund is returned through the original payment channel where supported. Direct bank-transfer corrections require verification of the original payer and account; we do not redirect refunds to an unrelated third party. Bank and provider processing times vary. The team will share available refund references and status; contact us if an initiated refund remains uncredited.

Failed or pending payments

A debit with a failed or pending payment may require reconciliation or a bank/provider reversal. Do not assume that it is a successful donation or make a second payment without checking. Send the reference to the Foundation and contact your bank for the debit status. A reversal by the bank is separate from a discretionary donation refund.
